Jennifer Shahade is a two-time United States women chess champion, commentator and writer, whose latest book “Chess Queens: The True Story of a Chess Champion and the Greatest Female Players of All Time” has just been published. Through her own story as well as in-depth profiles of the top female players, Jennifer invites us into the extremely competitive and male-dominated world of chess. Jennifer is the second guest on the FIDE podcast in this series of interviews by Lilli Hahn for the Year of the Woman in Chess.
